Biography
The group was formed in San Blas, Mexico in 1995. Their members are: Inocente "Chente" Guerrero López and his brothers Manuel, Guillermo and Alberto.
They began playing in small events and family celebrations and gradually found the way to become real favorites in the tradición norteña and Campirana.
Their first hit was "The King of the Universe,” and the success of this first song helped them sign a contract with Univision Music Group, which allowed them to expand their fan base not only in Mexico, but also within the U.S, sharing the stage with many of the most famous groups in the genre.
Thirteen years after and with the inclusion of guitarist Marco Gaxiola, Los Alegres de la Sierra are still at the top the popularity charts, having received several gold records for high sales of their latest productions.
