Founded by two cousins from Mexico's Wild West outback, los Cuates De Sinaloa are a leading act the fast-climbing Sierreno genre of Regional Mexican music.

Gabriel (requinto guitar) and Martiano (bass), known as Los Cuates De Sinaloa (The Twins of Sinaloa) began their career in 1997 at the age of 14 in La Vainilla, Sinaloa.  The cuates are actually cousins, but they both have twin siblings. As teens, Los Cuates moved to Phoenix, where they caught the attention of a local small label. Their first single to hit the airwaves was "Escuché Las Golondrinas." Shortly thereafter, Los Cuates' popularity began to spread to other cities in Arizona and New Mexico.
