Reik is a pop-rock band from Mexicali, Baja California.  The group formed in 2004 and has been famous ever since, mainly in Latin America, Mexico, and the U.S.  Before their widely popular album, Secuencia, which was released on November 14, 2006, Reik worked the Mexican underground club scene where some of their first recordings made them local celebrities.

Reik’s band members are Gilberto “Bibi” Marín (born January 26, 1983) on electric guitar, Julio Ramírez Eguía on acoustic guitar (born December 21, 1987) and Jesús Alberto Navarro Rojas (July 9, 1986) on vocals.

Reik has been nominated to the Latin Grammy in the category “Best New Artist” as well as “Premios Lo Nuestro,” “Premios Juventud” and numerous other awards.
