José Angel Medina had a dream came true in 1981 in his homestate of Durango, Mexico. He formed the band Patrulla 81 with the highest hopes and has been at it for more than two decades with the goal of leaving a mark on the music industry. In the beginning, there wasn't enough money to buy a keyboard so instead they purchased a smaller piece of equipment called a melodeón, part keyboard part wind instrument - to their surprise it would define their musical career.
