Jerry Rivera didn’t want to fall behind, so on Ay Mi Vida you’ll find him singing (guess what?) reggaeton, of course. The 12-track album includes seven pops, three salsas, one reggaeton and one balada. There isn’t much to say about the album, really. The only reason Ay Mi Vida is worthy of a three-star rating is because each of the salsa tracks deserve one. The “Baby of Salsa” shouldn’t worry about “reaching a broader audience” and stick to singing salsa. Is all the muscle-flash on the CD jacket suppose to compensate for the lack of artistic strength in the album?
