One of the most recognized women in the regional Mexican world, Graciela Beltran was recently touted as the “new face” of the genre at the most recent Regional Mexican Summit. That speaks volumes since she’s been in the industry for the better part of two decades and has released more than 18 albums. This album is the newest of a recent thread of releases that all seem to have reveled in the same Banda patch of repurposed tunes. It’s that customary sound that we’ve grown so accustomed to and on the same token deserves recognition especially for a mujer brava like Ms. Beltran.
