One of the best rock acts to come out of Mexico in the last decade QBO is back with III, consolidating their place on the Latin music scene. Following the slight change in musical style between their Nu metal self title debut and the hard rocking Aire, III takes a turn towards radio friendly tunes including power ballads and crossover tracks like “One Last Time” and “Getting Away”. Despite their attempts to become more marketable and get face time for their videos on MTV, QBO still follows the loud and bombastic definition of a power trio that makes people pump their fists up in the air thanks to robust guitar riffs and power chords, strong bass lines and solid drumming.
