Caetano Veloso

The Brazilian Bob Dylan is back bringing an eerie breath of fresh air. Few artists with such long career spans can claim to have such a diverse discography as Caetano Veloso. With a minimalist three-man band and produced by his son Moreno Veloso, Cê contain some of the psychedelic elements that catapult Caetano to musical and political revolutionary. Caetano’s poetic distinction is stained throughout the album, showing that his lyrical libido is still at its peak. Here goes a disclaimer though: listening to songs like “Deusa Urbana” and “Waly Salomão” may cause a hallucinogenic effect.
